Dr. Aneesh K. Pirlamarla is originally from central New Jersey and completed medical school at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, NY. He joined CPRCC after completing his radiation oncology residency at the historic Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia, PA, for which he was designated Chief Resident physician. Dr. Pirlamarla has extensive experience in all the advanced and innovative aspects of radiation oncology including modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), volumetric modulated arc therapy (VMAT), stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT), adaptive radiation therapy (ART), and HDR brachytherapy for prostate malignancies.
During his residency, Dr. Pirlamarla received multiple awards relating to resident education and advocacy of radiation oncology as a medium for cancer treatment.
He treats all malignancies but has a special interest in lung and genitourinary cancers. He strives to do his best to support the community where he practices.
Outside of work, his interests include cooking with his fiancée, exploring local coffee roasters, playing fantasy football, and traveling during his free time.
